3 Days Olpejeta, & Samburu National Reserve
Safari In Details
Day 1: Nairobi-Olpejeta
A Journey to Conservation
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or the Nairobi Airport in the early morning at 7:00am. We then together depart Nairobi and travel north, driving through lush tea and coffee estates to the exclusive OL-Pejeta Conservancy (Sweet waters) arriving in our lodge in time for lunch. Having the highest ratio of game-to-area among all parks and reserves in Kenya, OL Pejeta boasts excellent game viewing. Moreover, the conservancy has several private waterholes and salt licks, so we’ll be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters.
A special treat is the visit of the close-by Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established to provide protection to orphaned chimps. OL-Pejeta is the only place in Kenya to marvel at the endangered species. We can also take a close look at the heavily protected and fenced refuge of Black Rhinos with its stunning forty specimens! OL-Pejeta and Sweet waters are bound to delight!

A Day of Contrast
After a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the wild, we bid farewell to Ol Pejeta and journey towards Samburu National Reserve. The landscape changes as we travel, from lush greenery to arid plains, a stark contrast that highlights the diversity of Kenya’s ecosystems.
Arriving in Samburu, we are welcomed by the sight of the Ewaso Ng’iro River meandering through the reserve, bringing life to the surrounding land. We spend the afternoon exploring Samburu, encountering unique wildlife such as the reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra.

Day 3-Samburu-Nrb
A Bittersweet Farewell
On our final day, we take one last game drive in Samburu, savoring every moment in this wild paradise. As we bid farewell to the animals and landscapes that have captured our hearts, we reflect on the importance of conservation and our role in protecting these precious habitats.
As we make our way back to Nairobi, we carry with us memories of our time in OL-Pejeta and Samburu, inspired by the beauty of nature and the resilience of the wildlife we’ve encountered. Our journey may be coming to an end, but the impact of this experience will stay with us forever.
